Mental health crisis can occur at any time, anywhere. In the event a patient has fallen ill abroad and needs to get back home to the United Kingdom for further treatment, we are able to help.
Our expert team will work with you to coordinate land, sea, and air transfers. Providing discreet healthcare professionals, appropriately equipped to ensure that all the patient's medical and security needs are covered.
Working with foreign and partner agencies and we will conduct full risk assessments and handovers to ensure service users receive a good continuity of care during transfer to their destination.
With our patient centered approach, we prioritise the patient experience and want the patient to have the most comfortable and dignified journey possible. We endeavor to strike a balance between the patient’s security and their comfort. Our priority is to use the least restrictive practice possible, while mitigating any risks to the patient and any other persons. We strongly believe in providing the Right Person, Right Care approach, and will build our transfer team around the needs of each individual patient.
If required our staff are trained and equipped with mechanical restraints as well as the Soft Restraint System from Safer Handling. This enables us to safely transfer higher risk patients who may be exhibiting more vulnerable or challenging behaviour.

We can provide experienced Mental Health Nurses, Paramedics, and highly trained Mental Health Support staff to ensure all patients get home.
